Spend your morning with Us at a VIP tour of Urban Harvest farmers market in Montrose.
The Details
We’re taking a group of neighbors on a Saturday morning visit to Urban Harvest farmers market. During this guided VIP tour, Chef Matt will show you how to shop the stands for fresh, local produce and ingredients. Then we’ll all head back to Us Bayou Park for an exclusive pizza making demonstration using our Italian woodfire oven. Roll, top and bake your own personal pizza with ingredients Chef Matt brings fresh from the market.

The Itinerary
Saturday, April 27th
9:30- 9:55am: Arrive at the farmers market in your own vehicle. Plan for about a 15 minute drive from home.
10am: Check in and be welcomed with a brief history of Urban Harvest. Meet Head Chef Matt from Rosie Cannonball.
10 – 10:30am: Chef Matt takes us on a tour of the farmers market, with stops at the stands providing fresh meats, cheeses, sauces and produce for our afternoon pizza making demo.
10:30 – 11am: Have some time to explore the market on your own or with neighbors.
11-11:30am: Head home, put away your fresh finds, then meet us down at the resort pool deck.
11:30am: Pizza making demostration begins. Find a chair at one of the cooking stations as Chef Matt provides step-by-step instructions on rolling your dough and topping your 8” pizza. All tools and ingredients are provided.
12-1pm: Chef Matt pops your pizza in the Italian woodfire oven. Manga your heart out and chow down with neighbors before you say caio!

What’s the cost?
The farmers market tour and pizza making demo is free for Us members. If you’d like to purchase your own items at the market, plan to bring your wallet. Credit cards are accepted by 95% of vendors. If needed, there’s an ATM onsite by the coffee booth.
